Урок английского языка в 10 классе на тему Holiday Shopping.

Тип урока: урок обобщения, систематизации и активизации знаний.

Задачи урока:

Активизировать лексические и грамматические единицы по теме в речи обучающихся, учить выбирать и правильно употреблять речевые клише в устной речи, в диалогической речи в рамках учебной ситуации.

Развивать умение быстро и правильно реагировать на реплики партнера и давать ответ, адекватный ситуации.

Воспитывать доброжелательное отношение к ответам собеседника, умение выражать согласие и несогласие с партнером в корректной форме.

Ход урока

Организационный момент.

Учитель: How are you today?

Ответы учеников.

Целеполагание: Today we are going to talk about holidays. Holidays are important as a time, when we can forget about the stresses and enjoy ourselves, relax, be with our friends and family. We can do all things we dream.

Работа в группах.

Учитель: Well, we live in Russia, so let’s have a few minute talk in 4 groups. The task is: what holidays and festivals  do we have, how do we celebrate them?

Group 1- spring holidays and festivals.

Group 2 – summer  holidays and festivals.

Group 3 – autumn holidays and festivals.

Group 4 – winter holidays and festivals.

Don’t forget to choose the speaker.

Обучающиеся работают в группах 3-4 минуты, затем представитель от каждой группы высказывается.

Фронтальное обсуждение (учитель-класс):

Учитель: So, what is the most popular holiday in Russia?

The majority of people prefers giving presents, what about you?

Some people create the gifts, some – buy. What do you prefer?

What is the busiest time for shopping, in your opinion?

Do you like shopping? Why?

How should we choose presents for our relatives and friends? (take into consideration the preferences and tastes).

Проверка домашнего задания.

Game : Let’s play a game “Guess the gift for my…” . At home you were to make up the riddle (the description of the thing you would like to give a person you appreciate).

Аудирование

Учитель: Holidays are high time for shopping. Now, let’s have a listening about it and then answer the questions.

Вопросы даны в презентации. Обучающиеся отвечают на них после прослушивания аудирования.

Подготовка к обратному переводу.

It’s important to offer smth and give arguments, prove why it is essential. We should use conversational patterns and remarks.

What are

– introductory remarks?

– suggestions?

– patterns for expressing emotions?

– for making a positive or negative choice?

– for coning up with suggestions?

– for making a final  choice and finishing a conversation?

Обратный перевод диалога с русского языка (презентация).

Диалог по ситуации (работа в парах).

Учитель: We are going to prepare to Russian National Exam, so let’s practise in speaking.

Учащиеся получают ситуацию (учебная ситуация одна для всех), готовятся 2-3 минуты и разыгрывают ее перед классом.

Подведение итогов.

Домашнее задание: at home you are to make up the dialogue, you are to add one more option and be ready to act out.
