Full immersion. One day with the Moscow electronic school (MESh)

Svetlana PLATONOVA, physics teacher of school No. 627 (She has been working successfully in MESh since 2016. She has received a grant of hundred thousand rubles for creating lessons scenarios):

Statistics:1. 46749 interactive scenarios of lessons of all obligatory subjects from 1 to 11 classes are developed and introduced in the platform.2. 569105 training materials: texts, video, images, tests, tables.3. Number of big subjects (modules) provided with scenarios: 624.4. Teachers who received a grant: 505. Schools whose teachers received a grant: more than 30.- One of such projects, which are systematically introduced by us in daily practice, is Moscow Electronic School (MESh), which opens new opportunities for each teacher and brings educational process to the new level. After a year of active use of MESh it is possible to draw certain conclusions. From my point of view the most important is that the project unites all participants of educational process – pupils, parents, teachers, administration of school. The electronic diary allows to monitor progress and quality of education in separate subjects; all students have homework assignment, it is frequently individual; it is possible to write a comment for each mark so that parents and pupils could understand for what it is given. Besides, pupil can see at once all marks in a subject, and he or she can predict the quarter mark and take necessary measures if he or she isn’t satisfied with it. It should also be noted that technical capabilities of the lesson designer are constantly extending, wishes and remarks of teachers are taken into account by developers of the platform. We shouldn’t forget about convergence and intersubject linking! While preparing some lessons I look up scenario of other teachers – geographers, historians, mathematicians that allows me to correct my lesson scenario and to enrich it with useful information, showing interrelation of various objects and a variety of ways of studying the same phenomenon.Statistics:1. 32 electronic manuals in chemistry, physics, biology and history for 5-11 classes were published in educational system.2. In addition there are 3 electronic manuals, prepared by teachers of the Moscow schools (in Biology for the 5th class, Fundamentals of Health and Safety for the 8th class and ICT for the 9th class).3. The Electronic Anthology in 6 volumes (Science history) was placed.4. The electronic handbook on the Internet studies is devoted to the effective use of the Internet.5. About 400000 residents of the capital use electronic service «Data on the current school performance» daily, and monthly the number of unique users exceeds 1000000.Christina NOSENKO, schoolgirl of a medical class (She uses MESh successfully in study and recommends it to all school pupils):- Tablets, which are distributed to pupils during a lesson, are like small interactive boards. There are all textbooks, all materials for a lesson. Pupils can stop carrying a large amount of heavy textbooks to school now. Everything that is displayed on an interactive board during a lesson, is duplicated on tablets – it is a huge plus for visually impaired children.  I consider that the newly introduced system is very useful to all pupils because thanks to MESh lessons became more interesting, and the progress has increased.
